DEATH
Physical death is that state of the body which is separated from the "spirit" or "soul" (Gen. 25:8; 35:18; Jas. 2:26).
Death is a mystery that demands an explanation. Atheism is unable to provide one. If nature has the power to create life, as evolutionary dogma asserts, then why can it not sustain it?
Death is the consequence for humanity's initial defiance against its Creator (Rom. 5:12).
Spiritual death refers to separation from God due to sin (Isa. 59:1-2; Gen. 2:17; Eph. 2:1, 5; 1 Tim. 5:6).
Eternal death is the ultimate condition of being forever separated from the presence of God and every blessing associated with Him (Rom. 6:23; Rev. 20:14; cf. Mt. 7:23; 2 Thes. 1:7-9).
